One-Ticket launches marketing blitz in West Lothian
One-Ticket offers affordable unlimited travel on Bus, or Rail + Bus throughout East Central Scotland.
One-Ticket are making a major push to offer convenient, cost-effective travel to public transport users throughout West Lothian.
The One-Ticket product provides users with unlimited access to Bus, or Rail + Bus travel across East Central Scotland with a single ticket – no need to scramble for change or purchase a different ticket for each service, and you can use it any time for work or leisure.
Starting in October, One Ticket is advertising across West Lothian to make commuters aware of the advantages that using a single ticket offers.
One-Ticket spokesperson John Eliiot said:
"One –Ticket is convenient, flexible and affordable, making it ideal for the busy commuter. It’s simple to use, easy to purchase online or at PayPoint retailers across the region and it can save you money.
"We want to make travellers in West Lothian aware of the benefits of One-Ticket, so we started a major marketing push on Monday 30th September, in partnership with West Lothian Council and transport providers across the region."
One Ticket is available in day, week, 28 day (monthly for rail+bus) or annual formats.
SEStran Chair Russell Imrie added:
"SEStran aims to encourage people to use sustainable forms of transport, with public transportation as the mode of choice for most journeys.
"One Ticket offers a combination of affordability and convenience for the busy commuter that saves time, trouble and money.
"It’s a win-win situation. The traveller gets a good deal on their daily commute, with unlimited free travel into the bargain and South East Scotland gets less traffic on the roads and a reduced carbon footprint."
Councillor Tony Boyle, vice chair of West Lothian Council’s development and transport policy and development scrutiny panel (PDSP), said:
"We would encourage West Lothian travellers to make good use of the One Ticket for their public transport journeys.
"The flexibility it offers across different routes and operators means it’s often the most convenient and cost-effective option.
"With daily, monthly and weekly tickets available, it provides local residents with good value choices for getting around West Lothian and further afield."
